Q:Hey, I was wondering I am looking for a book that has a good amount of love and betrayal in it, any suggestions? Also, I was wondering if any of you read the book call Fifty Shades of Grey, and if you have, what are your reviews?
I have not read Fifty Shades, but I looked it up on Wikipedia and learned that it’s about a girl virgin (apparently it’s very important that she’s a virgin, since it’s mentioned in the article multiple times) who signs a contract with a billionaire to be his BDSM sub.
I also learned that it was originally posted online as Twilight fanfiction.
Based on what I’ve learned, it doesn’t seem like the female-empowerment erotica that a lot of people say it is. I just don’t see what’s empowering about a young, impressionable girl becoming the willing sex slave of a much older man. Maybe I’ll read it one day out of curiosity, but not in the foreseeable future.

I would like to futher point out that this is a blog that writes reviews aimed at teenagers. Our main demographic is 13-18. If someone that age wants to read erotic novels, I’m not going to blink an eye. But don’t expect HTBH to start reviewing them.
